New look, same EB!

New look, same EB!

You may have noticed that the Editorial Board looks and feels a little different. There’s a new coat of paint, a new sparkle in the sun. That’s because I moved over to a new platform called Ghost. I think you’re going to like it.

The most immediate improvement is the comments. Under the old system, I got slammed with spam. Legitimate comments were buried. Eventually, readers gave up commenting. That was a terrible loss, for me and for you.

I hope you will jump back into commenting. There’s so much to say! But mostly I just love interacting with my readers. In time, I want to turn comments into a kind of feature, in which I report on what people are saying, which inspires more people to say more interesting things, which I report again, which inspires more comments, and so on.

To comment (and I hope you do!), you will need to sign in. You can do that by clicking the comment button below. That will take you back to the website. From there, click the sign-in button. You will then be asked to enter your email address. After that, you will be asked to enter a one-time code, which has been sent for your email.

Voila!

Or you can go to editorialboard.com. The sign in link is in the upper righthand corner, next to the subscribe button.

I want to emphasize that anyone can comment! That includes paying subscribers (thank you!) as well as readers who have signed up for the EB’s free editions. I’m doing this for a couple of reasons. One, to rebuild the comments section. Two, to encourage freebies to subscribe!

You may notice a few odd things here and there. Please bear with me as I iron out the kinks. (I’m doing this transition on my own, no hired help.) For instance, there’s no share button at the bottom of emails. There’s also no subscribe button! But those will be fixed soon enough.

If you have any questions, all you need to do is reply to each emailed edition. You can do that with this one too. Everything goes back to me. I’d love to hear from you.

Have a great week!
