I’ll get to the point.

I’m one of the 24 million Americans soon to face a dire choice: we can pay unsustainable health insurance premiums or go without. This is due to Trump and the GOP repealing, in effect, the ACA subsidies that were expanded during the covid pandemic. Mine is going to double, at least, but others will see theirs triple or worse.

It’s a dire choice, but I’m lucky. While others can’t work more than they do, I can sell more subscriptions, I figure I need to reach about 100 new subscribers. That won’t cover all of my health insurance costs, but it will come close to covering the gap. Moreover, I’m happy to report that since Labor Day weekend, when I started this campaign, 76 new subscribers have joined the Editorial Board! Only 24 more to go!
